Wake AHEC is the accredited provider responsible for coordinating and tracking the CME credit for the grand rounds series in our nine-county region. Generally, grand rounds are 1-2 hour sessions in a specific area of interest and help to meet the continuing education needs of physicians and other healthcare team members.
COMING SOON! New Way to Track Attendance at Grand Rounds and other Regularly Scheduled Series
Wake AHEC will soon launch a new automated way to track attendance at all Regularly Scheduled Series (RSS) including grand rounds, tumor boards, M&M conferences, journal clubs and other case conferences. If you currently attend these sessions or plan to attend in the future you will need to have a MyAHEC account to receive CME credit and contact hours. Not only will you need to have an account, you will need to know and remember your email address and password before attending each session. You will have 5 minutes before the session starts and up-to-30 minutes after the session ends to get your attendance entered with this new electronic process. If you do not have an account or cannot access your account you will NOT receive credit for attending. So take time now to set-up your MyAHEC account, remember your email address and password and KNOW how to sign in to your MyAHEC account to successfully record and track your attendance. Login to your account or create an account if you don’t already have one.
