Description:  ** Vimeo Webcast ** - This webinar will provide an overview of opioid exposed pregnancies and the three common circumstances that result in opioid exposed pregnancies. While opioids are the fastest rising in prevalence, the other more commonly used substances in pregnancy and their potential impact will also be discussed. Participants will learn how to access all of the specialized substance use disorder treatment programs for pregnant and parenting women in North Carolina. The implementation of new federal requirements around substance exposed infants and plans of safe care will also be presented.

  4. Discuss new federal legislation requiring states to develop plans of safe care for infants identified as ‘affected’ by substances in utero and how this is being done in North Carolina.
