The Office of Regional Primary Care Education
at Wake AHEC is looking for dedicated and enthusiastic primary care
practitioners interested in teaching medical, physician assistant, nurse
practitioner, nurse midwife or pharmacy students in their community
based practices. Primary care disciplines include family medicine, internal medicine,
ob-gyn and pediatrics.

Preceptor Development Materials
Expert Preceptor Program:
Eleven written modules
for independent study.
Modules 1-3 focus on
critical skills related
to teaching in a community practice setting.
The remaining seven modules focus
on the teaching of
contemporary health care issues.
CME credit is available.

teaching), Teaching Styles/Learning Styles, Dealing with the Difficult
Learning Situation, and The Effective Preceptor.
