The goal of the Health Careers and Workforce Development (HCWD) Program is to increase the supply and distribution of healthcare professionals, with a special emphasis on the recruitment and retention of under-represented minority and disadvantaged students. A variety of enrichment activities are offered for middle school and high school students to foster interest and develop skills related to health careers.
