Mission
The mission of Wake AHEC
is to increase the knowledge, skills, resources, diversity and distribution
of healthcare providers.
Wake AHEC educates present
and future healthcare providers in Durham, Franklin, Granville, Johnston,
Lee, Person, Vance, Wake and Warren counties.
Discounted Registration
Fees
Many courses offer registration
discounts for pre-professional students. See brochures for specific
fees or contact a Wake AHEC representative for more information.
Students may be asked to provide student identification to receive registration
fee discounts.

Wake AHEC is affiliated
with the North Carolina University System. Due to this relationship
and others, Wake AHEC is able to tap into a vast pool of experienced,
cutting-edge faculty who bring a wealth of evidenced-based research
to the programs offered.
