Pharmacotherapy...
In cooperation with the University of
North Carolina School of Pharmacy, Wake AHEC coordinates pharmacy undergraduate,
graduate, and postgraduate pharmacy education in practice sites as well
as provides continuing education. The continuing education programs
are designed to assist in providing patient-oriented care and maintaining
and building professional skills. Pharmacotherapy Services also provides
technical assistance and clinical consultation to area pharmacists,
physicians, medical residents and students, nurses and other health
professionals, as well as to patients.
 The
School of Pharmacy of the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill
is accredited by the Accreditation Council for Pharmacy Education
as a provider of continuing pharmacy education.
