Borrowing Library Materials

The library is open to the public.  In general, anyone may check out materials from the Consumer Health Collection or the Spanish Grant collection.  Other materials may only be checked out by health care providers and students in affiliated programs.  Check the eligibility and fees chart for further details.

Literature Searches

The librarians are expert searches and can seek the answers to your information needs, using over 100 databases.  We specialize in finding evidence-based answers to patient care questions.  Literature Search Request Form

Document Delivery 

We can get materials for you from almost any library, anywhere. For more information or to complete the form, look at the Document Requests section. 

Classes and Orientations

Classes are offered on a variety of topics. If a class is not being offered at a time convenient for you, we encourage you to make an appointment with a librarian for one-on-one instruction.  You may also schedule a library orientation at any time..
