Exploration Station: On Track to a Health Career

Have you ever wondered what it would be like to be a patient in the hospital? What would it be like to work there as a healthcare provider? While attending this week-long health careers “adventure” sponsored by Wake AHEC, students meet various health professionals and learn about health careers as they tour hospital departments and participate in educational activities. The camp is offered during the summer each year, usually in June. A registration fee applies. Careers covered include: Emergency Services, Clinical Laboratory, Radiology, Rehabilitation, Surgery, Nursing, Respiratory Therapy, and more.
