Basic Spanish for Health Care Professionals: Communicating Effectively with Your Clients: Level Two

Description: |
This class is designed to provide extended training and practice of terminology and phrases used by the healthcare professional in an effort to enhance communication when working with the Hispanic patient and family. The course focuses on verb conjugation and sentence formation. The purpose of this one day class is to provide further education and practice in communicating with the Latin American patient and their family. The workshop is designed for those who have completed the level one class or who have some other basic training in Spanish communication with patients
This course serves as a follow-up to the Basic Spanish for the Healthcare Professionals course; however the basic class is not a pre-requisite. The only requirement for this course is exposure to simple Spanish phrases, either in a class or on the job. Healthcare workers who provide care for the Spanish speaking clients will benefit from the content and practice sessions. |
