Title:  * Filled * - Breastfeeding 101
Description:  This workshop is designed to provide information and role playing practice for clinicians new to breastfeeding or those needing a review in order to help them provide optimal breastfeeding care to mothers and babies.

Audience:  Lactation consultants, nurses, nurse practitioners, nutritionists, health educators, doulas, midwives and breastfeeding support persons who need to increase their knowledge and skills in working with breastfeeding families

Objectives:  01. Identify strategies to facilitate latch-on and assure adequate intake for the breastfeeding infant.
  02. Discuss the differences in the symptoms and the interventions for the breastfeeding mother with sore breasts as the result of ineffective positioning, engorgement, yeast infections, plugged ducts or mastitis.
