Title:  Human Trafficking: Stopping Modern-Day Slavery
Description:  Human trafficking, also called modern-day slavery, is now considered the second largest and fastest growing criminal industry in the world; second only to drug trafficking. Healthcare providers play a key role in being able to identify victims and provide treatment and resources. This one-day workshop addresses the prevalence of human trafficking, characteristics of victims and resources available for referral and treatment.
